About

The National Donor Memorial located in Richmond, Virginia, pays homage to America's organ and tissue donors--people whose special generosity made new life possible for thousands of children and adults.

Hope, Renewal, Transformation. These words form the memorial's theme. A volunteer committee of organ donor family members, living donors, and transplant recipients from across the country incorporated that theme into the memorial's three components: the garden, the Web site, and the permanent kiosk exhibit.
