Honoring America's Organ & Tissue Donors

Brittany Allsopp

Organ Donor

1989 — 2006

´╗┐Brittany was born with a heart of gold. Her love and compassion for others was a part of her being. It was just natural that she would be an organ and tissue donor.

She was in a rush to try everything in life. In perspective, because her life was cut short, it was the right way for her to be. She walked at 6 months, learned the entire dialog including songs to Mary Poppins by the age of 18 months, and continued to learn each of the Disney classics. She performed on stage in her first dance recital at age 4, her first stage play at 5. She wanted to be an actress and taught herself to memorize an entire script, all player parts, in two weeks. She loved to perform, and did so until the very end.

She loved and accepted all as they were, no judging, no stereo typing, she believed all were equal. As a young girl, this attitude hindered her acceptance in a child's society. As a teen, these beliefs blossomed her personality and acceptance by others. She had a profound impact on so many, and is now known as "The Pink Angel" by her friends and family.

Brittany's life was taken abruptly 2 weeks after her 17th birthday, as a result of injuries sustained from a car accident, in which she was a passenger.

She came into this world with her family surrounding her and left 17 years later the same way. She is loved and missed by so many. We were always proud of her love and dedication to others, and continue to be proud of donation of life renewed to others.

We love you and miss you so much Brittany. We continue to keep your memory alive, and look forward to seeing you again in heaven.
